Evans Bacon Company. we make our own Luncheons, Bacon, Ham, Saveloys, Sausages, Gourmet Sausages and other Smallgoods. These products have a history of success, both with the business and the customer! All meat is of 'A' grade quality. Prime Standard.

Our marvelous products are produced in the healthiest way, under an MPI approved Food Control Plan. Evans top priority in business is to produce 100% satisfaction with the customer. The team here at Evans Bacon Co. focuses on pleasing all of our customers to the best of our professional level.

Delivery

Your meat parcels are made up fresh on the day of dispatch, and kept in our chiller until the late afternoon courier pick up,  just before it gets loaded up in their delivery trucks that'll haul it throughout New Zealand to your town's destination.

As soon as the Fastway Truck unloads your meat parcel at your cities depot, it'll then be passed on to the Fastway courier van's that'll send it to your home, or work place.
NOTE: If you are not home when they go to drop off your parcel,  they will leave the goodies at the door. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE SOMEONE WILL BE HOME TO RECIEVE YOUR PARCEL.

History

The Evans family who emigrated from England first established Evans Bacon Company Ltd in 1921. Bringing with them age-old family recipes that are still proving popular today. Over the years, Evans has changed hands. In 1970 Graeme and Margaret Norris purchased the business from Fred Whitely and Dorothy McMullen. And in 2010 Steve and Jaki Watson purchased the business from Margaret Norris.

The famous Evans recipes changed hands once more. Well only 4 times in 91 years. Initially, Evans Bacon Company was a local butcher shop in the town of Gisborne, and then due to its success, it has grown year after year to a prominent Meat Supermarket. Broadening its market in the East Coast Region, and now recently all over the North Island.

With the reputation spreading throughout the North Island and many coming in from out of town always comment that we have the best of everything. We don't boast on people's opinions, though it's nice to hear them; rather we focus on the results, of bringing quality meat to all of our customers. No short cuts, just perfection!
